Back and sides in cocobolo. Top is made from a spruce beam recovered from a building in Vermont that was built in the 1850's.
This guitar was featured in a Guitar Player Magazine (see link on home page) on-line article. I made the guitar to exhibit at the 2011 Montreal Guitar Show.
It's the size of a classical guitar, very comfortable to hold. It has a nice clear tone and is a versatile guitar for fingerstyle or flatpicking.
Maple leaf inlay at 12th fret, made out of spalted maple
Rosette made especially for my beam top guitars.
African blackwood back strap.
Side port for better player listening. (it works!)
Iroko neck with ebony trim.
